I think it’s very sad that some people live with horrible gut conditions that are entirely treatable. Sometimes people find themselves surfing from one doctor to another and taking medications that don’t address the underlying problem. If you are having this experience, you may be living with bloating, embarrassment, gas, and a chronic feeling of being sick.
If it’s bloating that you’ve got, especially if you look like you’re pregnant with the bloating, it means you have a significant fermentation problem. You likely have bacterial or Candida issues and a lack of beneficial bacteria. Just throwing a pill at the problem won’t make it go away. For anyone with chronic bloating, particularly if you’ve had the problem for years and years, the first step is a comprehensive stool test. You need to know exactly what is going on in your gut to fix the bloating problem. The solution is not to get the typical testing available at your doctor’s office. Standard testing won’t provide the information that you need.

Getting a comprehensive stool analysis will be money well spent. If you forego doing the test, you’ll find yourself with poor information, poor decisions, and a poor future that includes ongoing bloating. Stop the CanXida supplements for 14 days before the test to ensure accurate results. If you’re following a paleo diet, you can continue to eat that way while undergoing the stool testing.
You can buy the test yourself from Direct Labs. If you want to do a follow-up with me for interpretation of the results, I’m happy to do that. Otherwise, look at the results and take the appropriate action. My guess is that within three to six months, you’ll get rid of the bloating.
