It is not hard to cure a fungal nail disease; the nails are easily accessible, small and easily treated and respond very well to treatment. Toenail fungus can be considerably more difficult to permanently eradicate than fingernail fungus. This is primarily due to the fact that many of us wear shoes continually.
Here are some of the best recommendations for yeast infections of the nails:
Tea Tree Oil
In the case of a nail infection, use one drop (more is not required) of 100% pure Tea Tree Oil straight on the nail bed. Repeat this twice daily – once upon rising and once upon retiring. You will be amazed and delighted at the results, especially if you persist. Don’t give up in a hurry; it takes time to kill the infection.

Oregano Oil
Oil of oregano is considerably stronger than tea tree oil, but in my experience it is not always necessary to use stronger products necessarily. Oregano oil is stronger, much stronger and if you use it be sure to get wild crafted oregano oil. I’ve seen the most difficult of all toenail fungal conditions clear up entirely with oregano oil, even when nothing else worked. Go easy though, it is a strong treatment.
Strong natural medicines like drugs may potentially give strong and unwanted reactions that can be quite annoying and off-putting for some. I do like oregano oil with yeast infections, and often recommend taking one or two capsules of this oil internally. If a person can handle a drop or two on their nails, then this is THE way to go.
Oregano oil is a bit like clove oil, it can be very powerful and extremely irritating, but when used very carefully it can be an absolute godsend. For a toothache for example I use clove oil, one drop and the pain is gone. If you do want to use oregano oil topically then I suggest you keep it well away from the eyes. Keep all essential oils well out of reach of children.
Grapefruit Seed Extract
Rub a drop of pure grapefruit seed extract (GSE) onto the affected nail after you take a shower or bath each day. Make sure that when you apply it that a little actually goes under the nail as well. Now leave it on. Every 3-4 days use a paper nail file and gently file away a little of the nail surface gently and rub in another drop of GSE. Continue like this until the nail starts to look normal again. If the nail yeast infection is quite severe and deep seated it can take many weeks or even several months, but it will be worth it when your nails are beautiful again, won’t it? If you have tried the rest, try the best, GSE. I’d like you to try tea tree oil first because it clears up many cases of toe and fingernail fungus usually within 8-12 weeks with daily application.
Another trick is to alternate the tea tree oil or oregano oil and GSE on the nails, that way you are using the combined power of two strong natural products and choosing a more broad-spectrum approach. This will increase your chances of a quicker and more effective solution.

Hi. I am surprised you are not mentioning H202 here. A 3% solution quickly dissolves nail fungus right before your eyes, (though it takes many repeated applications) and is even more effective with a few mg of Lugol’s added. I soak the toe/finger in a 50% aqueous solution of Apple Cider Vinegar to soften the tissues, then air dry, and then drop or wipe the infected area with the mixture above. The mixture can also be soaked in directly.
What is H202? I would like to try it.
Hydrogen peroxide (available in chemists for bleaching hair)
