Can Certain Drugs Make You Fat

Pharmaceutical medications. Can they make you fat? Can they make you gain weight? This is a question I’ve been asked. Just check that microphone’s on, yep. Many times by people. Drugs are designed for one purpose and that’s basically to quell a symptom. Like I used to get a symptom and then reduce the severity or intensity to the symptom. That’s all they’re designed for. In fact, what they do, they do well. But the problem is it’s not just the side effects they create. It’s the toxicity. They toxify the body. And we’re told to stay on these drugs for weeks, months, sometimes years on end. So it’s slowly, slowly poisoning the body. And what we’re also doing is we’re sabotaging the systems inside the body, especially the liver and the kidneys. They get nailed with these pharmaceutical drugs.

These main organs that clean the bloodstream, that keep our systems functioning well, that supply all our cells their nutrition, take waste away, they get hammered by drugs. And of course that starts to affect the body in many different ways. Your metabolism starts changing. Many people gain weight on pharmaceutical medications. Many people experience fatigue. They experience insomnia. They’re experiencing multiple symptoms. So of course, they go back to the doctor and what do they get told? Oh, you need this drug and you need that drug. And you need this drug. After a while you’re on 10 drugs. So what do you do? Well, probably the baby boomers, my generation, are the last ones to really, I believe, fall for this pharmaceutical merry-go-round. Younger people now are starting to think a bit differently. Many people are questioning whether these medications are really necessary.

Even a guy my age, a 60 year old guy my age, is generally on one or two drugs at this age already. And by the time he is 70 he’s on six to eight drugs. Is it any wonder that people get fat, they get sick, they get tired? The thing is not to start on these medications in the first place. And if you’re told you have to take this medication, get another opinion from some other doctor, go somewhere else. Start to think to yourself, what am I doing that’s contributing towards this health problem? Am I smoking? Am I eating crap food? Have I got crap relationships with people? What am I doing that’s making me the way I am, that requires these medications. Intelligent approach. Especially if you want to live to see your grandkids, it’s an intelligent approach. Especially if you want to live 70s and 80s and God willing in your 90s, in great health, seeing your family.

But you have to respect the laws of nature and medical science and nature don’t really seem to mix too well, do they? As I mentioned, when we’ve got a guy at the helm telling people he’s taken antibiotics in a viral pandemic, how many people are looking up to this person thinking that this is the right decision? It’s the wrong decision. We don’t need antibiotics. We don’t need hydroxychloroquine. We just need to keep our immune systems in great shape and eat good food and understand the power of nature. These bodies that we got are designed to live a long time. And if we care for them, they’ll live a long time. But when you start putting chemical concoctions in every day, several times, and you wonder why you’re gaining weight, don’t wonder. Wonder why you started on those medications in the first place.

Can Apple Cider Vinegar Help You Lose Weight

Apple cider vinegar. Is it any good? It’s really good. It’s fantastic. As you can see all my books on the back wall there, I’ve got several books speaking of the virtues of apple cider vinegar. Some of the books go back to the 1940s, some from the sixties. Very, very popular. I’m just trying to think of the guy’s name now. There’s a couple of health gurus in America who really brought apple cider vinegar up to the foreground. One of them was Donald Bragg. The incredible Donald Bragg. If you haven’t seen Bragg’s video on YouTube, I cannot recommend it highly enough. B-R-A-G-G. I’d love for you to watch Donald Bragg’s video. Bragg. Watch it. I love it. It must’ve been shot in the fifties or sixties, and how he talks about, “You’ve got the most amazing possession. You’ve got this incredible body.” You’ve just got to watch the video. I’m going to try and emulate that guy when they copy his video, and I’ll make a copy of it. Because I just find it incredible.

What I love about Bragg is his ability to really drive into people the reasoning why natural health is so good. I mean, this guy was basically a Bible thumper, but a natural health Bible thumper. We don’t get guys like that anymore. But he was fantastic. He did crazy things. Lived a long, long life, like a lot of gurus did. And of course lived in an age without computers, in a completely different era than we know of today. Bragg was a huge fan of apple cider vinegar and was one of the big promoters of it. I think Bragg opened up America’s first health food shop, I think, from memory, from what I read.

But yes, apple cider vinegar. So there are many cider vinegars you can get. Get the one with what they call the mother, okay, or the essential element in it. So it will have quite a strong culture already in there. You may even see a mushroom floating in some of these kind of things. So good quality organic ones. When I was at Erewhon, the health food shop in Los Angeles, a while ago, they got some really nice apple cider vinegars there. You can also get honeygar. So apple cider vinegar mixed with honey, which is my favorite. Because I can tell you guys out there, you ain’t going to be liking apple cider vinegar for too long. You won’t be drinking it every single day. Unless you’re like Bragg. I mean, that guy could drink horse’s urine every day. He wouldn’t care. As long as he got healthy, he would drink plutonium if it was healthy for him.

Some people, have you noticed, into good health, don’t care what things taste like. They would drink or eat anything as long as it was healthy. Well, I’m not one of those. It’s got to sort of taste okay. But the honeygar, it’s one dessert spoon per day, half a glass of water, before meals. Try that for about a fortnight. Once you’re done that for a few weeks, you can step it up to like a larger spoon and even three or four times per day.

Further readings:

You’ll find very interesting things happen when you take cider vinegar for a period of time of three to four months. It won’t do squat for you in a week. But when you’ve had that in your system for about 12 weeks, man, watch what happens to your gut. If you get a bit bloaty or gassy, it means you’re overstepping. Back off. So probably reduce it to a few teaspoons. Remember, everyone watching this video will have to step into ACV, apple cider vinegar, at a different dosage rate. Some people like me can generally start higher because of my diet anyway. I eat lots of sauerkraut, and yogurts, and fermented and cultured food. If you guys don’t do that, start slowly. This is a good introduction for you also into these kind of ferments.

So cider vinegar is a great starting point if you’re not used to sauerkraut, if you’re not used to kombucha, if you’re not used to kimchi, if you’re not used to these sort of foods. Start with a teaspoon a day, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly, slowly. Before you know it, you’ll be on a higher dosage per day. Your appetite will improve. The ability for you to burn fat will improve. It’s definitely got something there.

You can look at the research behind it, but I have seen the experiences I’ve gained in the clinic, and I’m talking to people about cider vinegar, and then getting their feedback. And I can tell you this with certainty, when you take it on board regularly, it has definitely excellent effects. Your energy will improve. Your sleep will improve. Your weight will improve.

But will you drop to a size 12 from a size 24 overnight? Not really. I did a video on lemon juice and weight loss, but this is a better beast. Because this is a ferment. This is different. This is going to have an effect on the gut, totally different from lemon juice or other things. But what I love about it is it cleanses the body. It’s got a cleansing action. So there’s a slow way to clean up the whole GI tract, including the liver, small bowel and large bowel, over a period of about 12 to 16 weeks.

But remember, get a good quality product. Once you start on this road, you’ll find you’ll make other changes to your health. And it’s the culmination of all those changes, with the ACV, that give you the weight loss you’re looking for. I guarantee it.

Help Me I Have Fecal Body Odour!

I’ve read an interesting comment on our Candida Crusher YouTube channel, which I’m going to respond to now, and it’s regarding fecal body odor. I’m just going to read the comment out. So you’ll see my eyes going everywhere because I’m reading online. Okay? So I’ll read this question out first and then I’ll shrink that screen, I’ll come back to you guys and I’ll reply to this person. This is a comment from Christian. “I’ve been taking Canxida Remove for 10 days now. I’ve changed my diet. I’ve been eating more greens and brown rice. My skin has improved. I’ve lost 20 pounds and I’ve got more muscle tone. I drink plenty of water. But the reason that I did is because I wanted to get rid of my fecal body odor. I still have it. Not everyone can detect it. I don’t know what could be causing it. I have a bowel movement every morning. I can smell whatever I ate after a while. It smells like fecal matter. Have you any suggestions Eric?”

Well Christian, the very first thing that I want you to do is to get a digestive, a comprehensive digestive stool analysis completed, or a CDSA. Okay? This is a really, really good thing for you to do. Now you could, there could be a rare chance that you’ve got TMAU, Trimethylaminuria, okay, which is a rare disease. It affects, I think, less than 1% of the population where there’s a defective gene. And the person has this, it’s called Rotten Fish Syndrome or fish smell or garbage smell. I had a patient, a woman in her mid-twenties come to see me once with this syndrome. And it was so sad for her because it was pretty offensive, and of course she really wanted to have a boyfriend. And well, I mean, how can you have a boyfriend when you smell like a garbage dump? It was a sad, sad, sad case. I never really worked much with her because she left New Zealand. She went overseas and didn’t contact me, but it was a very interesting case.

But I can tell you that the work I did do with this lady definitely suggested she had serious underlying gut disfunction that needed fixing up. But she was quite impatient and went back to the UK. So you really need to get an analysis of the gut. So the stool test, in my mind, is probably the smartest thing you can do, Christian. And then you’re going to say to me, “It’s all fairly well saying that, but A, I can’t afford it. And B, who the hell is going to do this? Interpret this stool test?” So the GI360. So the test to do is called the GI360. Okay? It’s from Doctor’s Data in Chicago in the USA. So I’m not sure when you are, you may be in the States, but I highly recommend you go and see a naturopathic doctor or an integrated medicine doctor and get this stool analysis report to this doctor, and get it checked out.

Because in my experience I’ve worked with many people with bad body odor and found that they were quite either toxic, they needed a good detoxification, or they had a lot of gut issues. They had bowel problems there. So if we go back to your thingy here, to your question here. Let’s have a look here. “I have a bowel movement every morning.” Well, that doesn’t mean anything, having a bowel motion every morning, okay? Because I don’t know what your bowel motion’s like. The volume, the texture, the odor, the color, all these sort of things are important to discuss with your practitioner. What time of day the bowel motion is, is it consistent? Is there bloating with it? Is there gas with it? What’s the sleep like? The energy like? So the doctor’s got to go over a whole lot of stuff with you.

Now you may have been to doctors before. Medical doctors, for example. And generally if they experience something like this, they just palm you off with an antidepressant. They don’t really know what it is or haven’t got the time to investigate it. So probably seeing a medical professional may be good initially to discuss that TMAU, to make sure that’s cleared. So if that’s cleared and you haven’t got that, then you go further. Okay? That’s probably the smartest thing to do. Because you may have that rare syndrome. It may be worth getting checked out. Okay? TMAU, Google it.

So I hope that answers your question Christian, but thanks for investing in the Canxida Remove. And we’ve had incredible feedback from so many people now regarding Remove. But it’s part of a system. There’s also Canxida Restore, and the Restore may help you significantly as well. So that could be something else you could put in there. That’s the probiotic enzyme formula that could be worth putting in there and taking one morning and one evening to see if that mitigates any of the symptoms. Drink plenty of water. And of course follow the advice on my channel regarding eating healthy food. You can’t go wrong with that. So I hope that gives you a little bit of support, but I can’t recommend that GI360 test enough. It could be the deal breaker.

Use THIS Instead Of Athletes Foot Creme

Let’s talk about athlete’s foot. Let’s talk about toenail fungus, different creams that people use. Many people claim to have incredibly good success with all sorts of medical creams when it comes to personal-use problems, but particularly peripheral ones like hands and feet. Some of the worst cases I’ve ever seen involved all of the 10 digits, more of the toes and also several of the fingers with bad fungal infection. So when you get to that stage, you’ve got a quite a major Candida problem. You really need to treat the beast systemically. So just working topically is not really going to cut the mustard. You need to work on a deep level. Now, if we look at athlete’s feet, obviously the word athlete denotes wearing long socks and shoes and things like that.

So, common sense would prevail here. If you’ve got a problem with your feet and you’re wearing shoes constantly, what do you think you should do, wear your shoes to bed? Wear them in the shower? I think you should take them off. And particularly if you’ve got itchiness anywhere on the lower limb, you really need to have those socks and shoes off ASAP after sport. Bathe them in seawater is a good thing to do, but check out my playlists. Yeah, I’m sure there is a playlist I’ve created on foot fungus and toenail problems and you’ll find lots of tips and hints in that section. But Australian tea tree oil is just the king when it comes to the feet.

I just had a look at some medical research on tea tree oil where they found disappointing results. They said it didn’t cure any toenail problems that people would find it that they’re better off going into the medical creams, terbinafine and all these different types of drugs created. But what they don’t realize is lots of research is also being conducted with the efficacy of Australian tea tree oil in comparison with Lamisil and all these other medications. Tea tree oil consistently comes out on top with so many studies, but you’ll never really hear about that, of course, because everything’s pushed pharmaceutically today. We’ve got a president who’s actually pushing hydroxychloroquine and antibiotics onto a U.S. public in the middle of a viral pandemic. When we got a leader talking about antibiotics for viruses, we start to really see how stuffed up the system really is, don’t we? It’s just a completely broken down system.

But anyway, getting off track here. I’d like you to try the Australian tea tree oil. Melaleuca alternifolia is the botanical name for this plant. It’s endemic to Australia. It loves to grow there, particularly in new South Wales in the Southern region, the [Belgoan 00:02:47] swamps apparently is where some of the best oil in the world comes from. And the best company is called Thursday Plantation. Thursday because the guy who started the company started on a Thursday so he called it Thursday Plantation. But I could tell you folks out there you will not get a finer tea tree oil. There are many other companies that produce tea tree oil but nobody creates anything like the Australian tea tree oil, which has been used for the Aborigines going back, likely, thousands of years. It was a standard medicine. When the First World War soldiers went to war, the Australian government supplied them with a bottle of tea tree oil for shotgun wounds, for powder blasts, and for all sorts of things.

So it was known to be super effective and it still is today. It’s something I always recommend people to take with them when they go traveling, is to take a one ounce bottle or, better still, two ounce because you’ll be treating a lot of people around you for bruises, cuts, bumps, bites, stings, burns, any of that kind of stuff. So yeah, this is not a promotion for the company, but I’ve used their product now for probably 40 years, 30. Since 1976, it came out. I discovered it when I was 16 back then. So what’s that? Yeah, probably about 40 years I’ve used it and I cannot recommend it enough, especially for hands and feet.

So this is the product to use. When you get a pair of sports shoes, if you’re an athlete, you put two drops of tea tree oil down. You hold the shoe up. I haven’t got a shoe here. Let’s say that this air conditioning controller’s my shoe. So I’ll hold the shoe like that and I’ve got that little thing I’ll pull back and I’ll just put two drops down here in the toe area. And then I’ll leave that shoe somewhere, just to air out. You do that once per week.

Now when you consistently do that, don’t worry, your shoes aren’t going to fall apart or rot. But you will create that environment in the shoe that’s very hostile towards various Trichophyton spores. Now Trchophyton is the yeast that loves to live in and around the toenail, for example, but it does not like tea tree oil. It loathes tea tree oil. So if you regularly put a couple of drops here or there in the shoe, if you go to bed at night after your shower, one or two drops and massage it into the feet. It might take a while, but that’s the end of it. It’s done. But remember, it’s also about the environment of the foot. It’s not just about treatment, it’s about prevention. I’ll leave you with that.

The BEST Non Starchy Vegetables To Eat

Let’s talk about starchy vegetables and non-starchy vegetables. So there are two main groups. Starchy vegetables today have got a bad rep, okay? They’ve been beaten around the head. They’ve been kicked up in butt, they’ve been punched in the face. It’s really sad how these starchy vegetables have been complaining to me about how everyone’s moaning about them all the time. They feel unloved. They feel sad. They feel depressed.

Starchy vegetables, they’re on Prozac. People are so depressed about it, okay? Don’t be like that. Just because you read some crap online that something’s not good for you, or it’s bad for you, you immediately avoid it like the plague, okay?

Peas, corn, potatoes, squash, zucchini, courgettes. These are all considered starchy foods. People now sort of look at them in a bad way. The non-starchy foods, there’s tons of them. Beans, brassicas. There were so many greens, for example, that a non-starchy. But what are some of the better non-starchy foods? Because for the starchy folks out there, we’ll talk about that the non-starchy food.

In my opinion, the best non-starchy ones would have to be the brassica family because of their serious nutrient dense composition. These are going to give you a bang for your buck. They’re seriously powerful food to eat. It’s why I we grow lots of brassicas. We grow lots of Brussels sprouts, cauliflower. We’ve got the purple cauliflower. I think that one comes from Sicily. A beautiful purple cauliflower. It’s nice when you’re cooking. Of course, the green one. We grow one called green dragon, sort of big one. And we also grow the smaller ones, the sprouts and broccoli. The brocco sprouts, which are great for stir fry’s in there. Cauliflowers, which I love also.

But these, in my opinion, give you such incredible composition of nutrients that you shouldn’t forego. Fresh green beans are the same. So there’s ample research now to show that people who eat high amounts of brassicas long-term have quite a way lower incidents of all cancers than people who don’t eat them at all. We’re talking about prostate cancer, bowel cancer, all those cancers, breast cancer. So you certainly want to be looking at brassicas in your diet if you’re serious about your health. If you grow them like I do, I’ll need to do some videos, certainly on growing brassicas to show you a lot of tricks and tips I’ve learned over the years on how to grow these things. Because a lot of people have problems getting good size vegetable, and they don’t understand about watering and fertilizing and digging and composting.

There’s tips I’ve picked up over life, 30, 40 years of growing vegetables and you soon learn what works and what doesn’t. But the flavor, again, on these, you can’t compare home grown broccoli or cauliflower to what you buy in the shop. You get excited with these vegetables when you grow your own, because taste is there. The texture’s there. You’ll certainly understand that the health benefits are there when you eat them too.

So if you were to say to me, “Eric, what’s the best non-starchy I can eat?” I wouldn’t say there’s one best, but in my opinion, the three top ones would have to be Brussels sprouts, which everybody hates, but I love. I usually love what people hate. I find it wonderful to eat. They’re nice with a bit of grated nutmeg on top. That’s top of the tree, in my opinion, for nutrition and starchy, particularly male and the prostate. The Brussels sprouts are important. Broccoli under that cauliflower under that. Leeks, some people consider starchy, some consider non-starchy. Same with onions.

Onions, and garlic I couldn’t live without those. We eat them every single day. Onions and garlic in some type of meals. Again, the flavonoids in onions, incredible quercetin in onions. So good for your body for so many different aspects of your circulatory system. But when you take a deeper look, you’ll see what I mean with the vegetables. The starch don’t have to be a four letter word, okay? Is starch a four letter word? Six letter word. But you know what I mean.

Potatoes, again, people have a morbid fear of a potatoes and that’s probably because of a type they eat and how they eat them. Deep fried potatoes are not really good. The boil potatoes, there’s nothing wrong with eating boiled potato if your tummy is fine like mine.

Pumpkin’s the same. Butternut squash, beautiful foods to eat. But if you’ve got bad IBS, of course, if you’ve got inflammatory bowel disease or bad case of Candida, you may have problems with these starchy foods at the beginning. But as you progress, you should easily be able to eat these foods.

Most all people I’ve worked with in the clinic could eat starchy food within three to six months without too many problems. They may be had a few niggly problems. And these are the seriously bad cases, but I will not, for one minute, believe that everybody should avoid gluten, starchy foods, dairy products, because they’re bad. Get out of here.

Anyway. I hope you got something out of that video. So remember the brassicas. Probably the onions, probably the green beans. These are the nutrient dense ones, which I think you should seriously look at to give you bang for your buck.
