Using Essential Oils To Help Clean The Gut

You can successfully use essential oils for Candida cleanse. My favorite oils would have to be tea tree oil and oregano oil. You could use thyme oil and many other oils as well. Remember that some oils can be quite powerful, so you need to be very careful when using them

In my opinion, even better than essential oils is to use the herbs themselves. Some of the herbs I recommend are oregano, thyme, marjoram, basil, and rosemary. Woody, Mediterranean herbs are not just good for cleansing Candida but also for keeping gut bacteria in check.

I know several patients that put a few drops of oregano oil in their salad dressing, or they’ll mix a bit of tea tree oil into different types of foods. Remember, you’re not supposed to take essential oils internally. I know of many people that have done so for a long time, with no problem at all. These people are intelligent. These weren’t people that were drinking an ounce of oregano oil every day or doing crazy things like that.

It’s not a good idea to consume essential oils internally unless you really know what you’re doing. You must either be trained or work under the direction of a qualified aromatherapist or somebody with a deep understanding of essential oils.

Some essential oils are hazardous to ingest. Pennyroyal and tansy are extremely toxic oils to use internally. They are dangerous to use and can cause major liver disease. Before you take any oils internally, see your naturopathic doctor or aromatherapist. You need to talk to someone who has training in this field. I would not use essential oils internally, unless it is tiny amounts of oregano or tea tree oil.

Be cautious with essential oils because they can be very strong and powerful, and in the wrong hands can create a lot of problems.

I’ve got no concerns with using essential oils topically. However, when it comes to ingestion, it’s safer to have teas and herbs rather than oils. Essentially oils are super concentrated, so there is a greater risk of toxicity.
