What Do I Eat After Three Days Of The Candida Cleanse

What do you eat? I’m Eric Bakker, the naturopath from New Zealand. I’m talking about candida, and SIBO, and gut problems, and many other issues that people face around the world with the digestive system, so my channel is called Candida Crusher. Thanks for tuning in.

This is a dilemma many people face, they start a candida cleanse and then they say, “Oh my goodness, what can I eat? I can’t go down to the store, I can’t buy candy bars, I can’t get takeout, what the heck am I going to do? I’m just so lost and I’m so bored.” Well, a really interesting an easy thing for you to do, I hope you’re going to grill for example, or a nice gas stove like I’ve got, it’s easy to make some yummy food for yourself, okay, that’s going to soothe your soul. All you need to do is grill some basic food or fry some basic food. It could just be a piece of meat or something like that, some onions, and so keep your meals simple, especially the first few weeks, because it’ll make it easier on your digestive system, okay?

Eating four or five types of foods, so you don’t need to make it complicated. When I worked, well, I retired in November last year, but I worked up until then with many people helping them out with different types of dietary tips. I found the best solution for the first few weeks was basically steamed vegetables, a little bit of brown rice, maybe some eggs and chicken, or some fish, a piece of beef or something. A small bit of protein, lots of fibrae foods. It could be pears, it could be a kiwifruit, a green apple a day, but by keeping your diet simple, chewing slowly and pacing yourself through the day with small meals, you’ll easily get through it, and you’ll soon find that your gut will slowly improve, slowly, slowly, slowly improve.

The bowel motions will improve, and over time, once you get out of that two to three week period, you can expand your dietary repertoire more and add more like stir fry dishes and all sorts of meals, casserole meals, and cooked meals, and big salads and many, many different things. Some people do it at the beginning, but often I like people to start slowly, slowly, and then build their diet up as the weeks go by. It’s simple to do, okay?
