Smile For Your Stomach Happiness May Guard Against Deadly Gut Infections

We’re going to talk about the stomach, and particularly not so much the stomach, but the digestive system. So this is not a clickbait kind of a thing about stomach and happiness. This is more about the small intestine as more particularly, I suppose, but this could affect many different parts of the digestive system. The enteric nervous system is one of the most powerful parts of the body. So this has got to do with how the brain, or the nervous system, interfaces really with the gut, and particularly the small intestine.

We used to have an understanding that hormones like serotonin were made predominantly in the brain, but now we understand that basically that hormone is made almost exclusively in the small intestine. It’s phenomenal. When you think about all these expressions about the digestive system and behavior in people, when, “He hasn’t got the guts to do that,” for example, we understand now that fear and the digestive system, happiness, depression, anxiety, many of these emotions that we experience may well even have their link in the gut, particularly in terms of bacteria and hormones.

So feel the serotonin, we discovered not that long ago, that there are particularly, that some bacteria have receptors on them that are very susceptible to serotonin. So in serotonin is produced in the small bowel up to a certain level, what was probably deemed a normal level, it’s going to keep a bad gut bacteria in check. So research focused on a particular bacteria that’s known to cause digestive problems, in particular foodborne illness, like food poisoning. This is a bacteria called E. coli 0157. There are many different types of Escherichia coli in the gut, but this one in particular is linked with stimulating the ability for the body to get into a food poisoning mode. So what they found is, there were receptors on this bacteria that are very affected by serotonin. So when serotonin levels are efficient in the gut, it will keep those levels of E. coli down.

So serotonin is also linked with depression, happiness, it’s the feel good hormone. So they discovered that when they give drugs like Prozac, an SSRI drug, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor drug, so this stops serotonin being broken down so it lasts longer in the body. So when an SSRI drug’s given to someone, it actually helps their food-borne illness, helps them to recover. So happiness may really be in the gut when you think about it. So most of the relationship, most of the studies regarding the microbiome are focused on the relationships of the bacteria and their ability to cause inflammation and effects like that. But now we’re actually starting to see that there are hormones produced in the gut that influence the health of the body to a very high level. And these hormones don’t only have an effect on keeping the bad guys at bay, but also have a tremendous effect on making us feel happy about our life and contented.

So a lot more research will be coming out in future, but I suspect that most of the way, a lot of the emotions that we feel are, in fact, influenced to a tremendous degree by the balance of the bacteria that we hold in our small bowel. So the more dysfunctional that small bowel gets, the more distorted these groups get, and the more problems we get with hormone productions in that small bowel, the sicker we’re going to become as a society.

And unfortunately, mainstream medicine and mainstream food production is doing what it shouldn’t be doing. It’s actually adversely affecting the small bowel. Is it any wonder why so many people these days suffer from anxiety and depression and mood swings? Just to have a look at the diets that many people are on. And as I’ve always said, if you eat like crap, then you’re going to feel like crap. Very funny, but true. Well, it’s not funny, it’s actually quite tragic. I’ll leave you with it. But something for you to think about, everything you eat influences bacteria, will have an influence on the bacteria, on their levels, but also on the body’s ability to produce hormones, which can make you feel good, bad or indifferent. It’s food for thought.

Why Are Your CanXida Products Taking Time To Arrive In My Country

Now, many people are probably not aware that we offer free shipping. Not many supplement companies offer free shipping like we do. Many people will charge a ridiculous amount of money for shipping. We don’t, we do free shipping, but the only problem in that situation, well, I shouldn’t say problem is it’s going to take time to get those products. If you’re willing to pay for UPS or FedEx, it’s going to cost a lot more money, but you’ll get the products a way a lot faster. So it’s up to you really, how you want to have these products. If you want to pay less for them in terms of the shipping take up on our free shipping offer, it will take time.

And as I mentioned in a previous video, even though the duration may be there, the supplements are going to arrive perfectly fine at your location. Just make sure that you understand it takes time. Okay? When you look at other companies like Amazon, they charge an incredible amount of money for shipping. I’ve often looked at products in America, and I thought it’d be great to buy that. But then I saw the shipping charges are in fact three times more than what the product was worth. So it’s just not worth it. So it’s really up to you. We don’t operate FedEx. We don’t operate UPS. I mean, we haven’t even got billions of dollars to spend on shipping companies and things like that. So that’s why we do the free shipping. It can be the slow boat to China, but slow boats are nice boats too. It’s going to take time.

So if you factor that in, when you order the product and know it’s going to take time, you won’t be so upset I suppose, if it does take time to arrive. We are working on logistics and we have been for some time for our EU customers and also for our Australasian customers, but it’s been more difficult than we realized. And particularly with COVID-19 has slowed everything down even more. So there’ll be rule again, be seriously looking towards international shipping and how do we expediate that in the best possible way for our company, so we can reach all of our customers globally without a problem. We appreciate the hard times that many people are going through. And that’s what we’ve always wanted to offer the free shipping. We never really wanted to sting people, crazy amounts of money for shipping. So there you have it. If you take up the offer free shipping, it will take time. But if you want to spend the money for UPS or FedEx, it will arrive faster at your destination. And that’s how it is.

Fish To Eat And Fish To Avoid!

Now, let’s talk about fish. There’s something fishy going on, I’m telling you about fish. Lots of people don’t eat fish anymore. It’s really sad. People are scared. You know, they say, oh, it’s got mercury in it. It’s got toxins in it. I’m reading that fish could have PCBs in it or different chemicals that have come from the ocean. A patient told me a long time ago, she wouldn’t touch fish because she said it’s full of microplastics.

What do you do? What do you eat? Do you eat fish? It’s a fantastic protein. It still is a really good protein to eat, but what species can you eat, and what should you leave? Right? You can look at a whole bunch of different websites, and you can read all sorts of information, but if you use this up here, it will take you a long way, put it that way. Think carefully about this, the older the fish, the bigger the fish, or the larger the fish and the older it is, the longer it’s lived for, the higher the chance it’s going to contain toxins in it. You know?

One fish I like to eat, which is not really that good to eat, is called orange roughy. Now 95% of the orange roughy fish globally is caught in New Zealand. Yeah? New Zealand catches these fish under the Marine Stewardship Council, MSC. Lots of the orange roughy fisheries, actually by the… I think mid to late 1990s had collapsed and gone. There’s a very strict quota on these fish. They’re caught between eight and nine hundred meters, up to about 1200 meters deep. Some websites falsely claim they’re a warm water fish, when in fact they are quite a cool water fish, very high in Omega-3. But here’s the problem. Orange roughy can live to 200 years plus, all right?

I’ve got a friend, or patient friend, who used to be a fisherman, catch lots of fish, South Island on the west coast. But he’s mentioned to me that the orange roughy, he’s a beautiful fish, but they’re really worried about overfishing these fish, but he won’t touch them himself. And I said, why? And he said, well, if a fish is going to live a hundred years, 200 years, it’s going to contain a lot, potentially, of toxins in it, so… You know, the same goes for shark. The same goes for tilefish. The same goes for marlin, like those really big marlin and that people catch on boats, spent eight hours playing around with these fish. Those fish generally contain a lot more mercury than a smaller fish will contain.

Safest fish to eat? Sardines and anchovies. They don’t live a hundred years, okay? They live in a higher water strata, and closer to the surface, not so deep, easily caught, short life span, lower toxins, and very high Omega-3. All right? Very high in Omega-3. Anchovies and sardines would be two of the better kind of fish to eat.

You’ll also be warned not to eat shellfish, like scallops, clams, crabs, lobsters, crayfish, and all that kind of stuff. Keep away from it. They’re filthy fish, they’re bottom feeders. Well, that’s sad news for people who say that in New Zealand, it’s a little bit cleaner than elsewhere, but there are still pockets around the world where you can still eat this kind of seafood. A lot of these crustaceans contain very high levels of zinc, which is very good for the body. So high levels of zinc in a seafood can also allow the body to detoxify things like mercury.

So, let’s talk about tuna. Okay? Bluefin, yellowfin, albacore. The smaller tuna tend to have less mercury than the bigger tuna. So, sushi, for example, if you’re eating sushi or sashimi, the fresh fish from a large tuna, there’s chances it will have some levels of mercury in it. But again, how much of that fish are you going to be eating? You’re only going to be eating small amounts regularly.

So here’s what you do. You eat small fish, small white fish that haven’t lived a long time. Not a lot of mercury in them. There’s plenty around. If you go to fish markets, you can still see small white fish for sale. Generally reasonably clean, all right? In my mind, fish is still one of the best proteins you can eat because of its low fat content. It hasn’t been fiddled with. Fish out of the ocean may contain some mercury, but it’s still a good fit of protein to eat.

You’re not going to be eating 50 pounds of fish a day. Small amounts here or there, two or three times a week, should be perfectly fine. Now the FDA has laid down guidelines for pregnant or nursing women, for example, things like this, but it’s common sense when you eat a protein like fish, just like it would be if you were eating chicken or beef. How much do you want to have? I mean, are you a bodybuilder? You know, do you want to gain 50 pounds of muscle? Are you going to eat like seven cans of tuna a day? Then you’ve got a problem. Then you need to look at other sources of protein. You know, vegetable proteins, legumes, tofu. There are many different ways you can get protein in your diet. You don’t need to eat meat.

Fish does taste good though. Fish contains Omega-3. Fish contains a lot of minerals you won’t necessarily get in other foods. It’s still today considered a good food to eat. But remember, stick with small fish, high Omega-3 levels, you won’t have a problem. People watching this video in a hundred years from now will probably think, wow, they used to have fish in the oceans back then. It’s a shame they’re all gone. Eat them while you can. Thanks for tuning in.

Is SIBO A Disability

Is SIBO a disability? Do people who have small intestinal bowel issues, are they disabled? Well, not in the sense of, I would say, hearing or visual disability, but maybe perhaps to that degree, because many people who suffer with seriously bad, small bowel problems are going to have a lot of problems in their life. And these problems are multiple problems. It will often start off with, for example, a round of antibiotics, which could lead to another round. Or it could be medications, multiple medications for many years. I regularly get emails and messages sent to me from people who finally get on our candida program. They’ve been sick for a long, long time, often through medications or stress. That is a disability. When you’ve got a life that’s impaired so much that you have problems with everything you eat, you have issues going out, socializing with people. You have issues working because you’ve got to find a bathroom all the time. This is a disability.

And a sad thing is, when I was in my twenties, if you presented to a doctor with a gut issue, or an inexplicable problem as they would see them, they would test you. They would check you out and say, “Look, we can’t find anything wrong with you.” So of course you walk away from that medical appointment feeling really discouraged. And over time that becomes a disability because you keep getting told by many people, “There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s all in your head.” Unfortunately, this still happens today in the 21st century. So then you start developing real issues and over time it becomes a mental health problem. What first became a medical situation where you go to medication, eventually you get classified as someone who’s got a mental health problem. That’s a serious disability.

So if there are issues going on with the small bowel, if you suspect SIBO, I highly recommend that you go to somebody, preferably someone who’s licensed, who knows what they’re talking about who can test you and let you know, yay or nay, do you have SIBO or not? And stool testing or breath testing or various other methods will certainly point you in the right direction and clarify that point for you, because you need to know. If you don’t know, it’s a big problem.

Using oleuropein (Olive Leaf Extract) To Treat Candida

Oleuropein is a polyphenol.

It’s a type of antioxidant found in the olive leaf.

It’s also found in olive oil and the meat of the olive.

This particular polyphenol is very, very good as a cardiovascular protector.

There’s a lot of research into the brain-protecting activities of oleuropein for Alzheimer’s and diseases like that.

I’ve not had a lot of success with oleuropein as an anti-Candida product.

There may still be some merit in considering this compound.

Some people say oleuropein is anti-viral, but the studies and research I look at don’t validate that claim.

Related articles:

If you’re going to take olive leaf extract, the dosage depends on the oleuropein content.

It’s important to know what the oleuropein concentration is when you buy a bottle of olive leaf extract.

A standard dose of oleuropein for healthy people is 25 milligrams per day.

For chronic, long-term illness, a standard dose is 25 milligrams of oleuropein three times a day.

If you’ve got short term chronic illness you want to treat, you could be looking at 150 to 200 milligrams per day.

Generally, with supplements, you need to take a little bit more for a shorter period if you’ve got an acute problem. Then you take just maybe one or two daily, long term.

In other words, you need 25 milligrams for maintenance, 75 milligrams of oleuropein for chronic problems, and up to 200 mg per day if you have acute flu or bacterial infection.

For Candida, you may want to try three capsules per day. One with each meal and see how you do.
